Hi and welcome to Preppy Kitchen! This channel is for people who love food and enjoy learning new recipes and techniques so you can make delicious dishes to share with your family and friends! You'll find new videos every Tuesday and Thursday with step-by-step instructions so you can make anything with confidence. I’m John Kanell, a husband, dad to twins Lachlan and George, Los Angeles native, and an avid baker and cooker of all things delicious thanks to a life long education from my mother. My mom cooked every meal we had and I loved spending time with her in the kitchen watching, helping, and learning as she made everything from scratch.
After finishing my degree in fine arts at UCLA I spent just over a decade teaching math and science to wonderful 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. A few years ago I decided to get back to my roots and Preppy Kitchen was born! For me the most satisfying part of making any dish is sharing it, so I started blogging to bring what I make to all of you.

I don't understand why this guy has so maybe followers. I followed the exact recipe and the texture was off in my chocolate chip muffins. It wasn't light and had that nice muffin texture. I would recommend ignore the review and follow another RUclips receipe. He is a quack.

ONE VERY IMPORTANT ASPECT OF CHINESE CUISINE IS USING AUTHENTIC CHINESE SAUCES. ONE SAD PART OF GENERIC STORE-BOUGHT SAUCES IS THE STAGGERING AMOUNT OF INGREDIENTS IN THEM. REAL SOY SAUCE AND OYSTER SAUCES HAVE A FEW AND NEVER THE REAL TASTE. EVEN IF THIS GREAT DISH IS AMERICAN.

The most common way Greeks do dolmades is vegan, same recipe, a little more herbs and no meat or animal fat etc. We call them "orphan" dolmades and I actually prefer them as they are much lighter and still delicious and healthy.

I followed the recipe precisely, but why did mine taste eggy? I almost did not taste or smell the butter. Was it the quality of butter I used or did I do something wrong here?

everybody is crazy about frrnch butter cream or swiss butter cream. has anybody tried german buttercream? grman bitter cream can be used as coating of a cake. and mixed with a whip cream can be used as filling for donuts. it's pudding based.
I love to add nutmeg in my shrimp ceviche . I don’t know why.
